Rules and Conditions
1. Lifestyle Volunteers is open to young people who live or are in education or training within the county of South Yorkshire2. To enter the competition young people must be in the school years 6 - 11
3. Teams must be made up of at least two young people
4. Teams cannot be made up entirely of Young People whose parents work for either South Yorkshire Police or any or the competition sponsors
5. Each team must have at least one adult volunteer to a maximum of two, who must sign the registration form to indicate that they are willing to supervise the team and their activities and to consent to a suitability check being processed by South Yorkshire Police
6. All teams must register themselves for Lifestyle Volunteers by completing the Registration Form and sending it back to
Community Safety Department

The Community Safety Department must be informed of any changes to the team by contacting

7. A young person can only be a member of one team at any time
8. Only work done after the registration date and before the closing date can be submitted in the diary
9. All diaries must be returned to the Community Safety Department by the closing date
10. All adult volunteers must be over 18 years of age and will be subject to police checking/vetting procedure. The Head of the Community Safety Department has duty of care and explicit right to refuse adults who fail this vetting procedure and the final say in any such matter
11. Adult volunteers will not benefit from any of the available prizes
12. The organisers reserve the right to contact teams during the competition and to release details supplied by the participants about themselves and their projects for publicity purposes, this may include the use of photographs in the press and on the internet The Community Safety Department must be informed in writing if you do not give permission for photographs to be used for the above purpose
13. The project managers and judges decision in all matters relating to the management and operation of the Lifestyle Volunteers Event is final
